Our goal is to find candidates who are compassionate towards patients at end of life, as well as the families who support them.
We strive to provide our patients with dignity and comfort through managing pain and addressing their symptoms in a timely manner.
We are currently looking for a Chaplain in the Monterey area, with the flexibility of covering its surrounding counties.
As well as taking care of our patients and families, we also prioritize the well-being of our staff by creating an environment of positivity and inclusiveness.

This is a Monday-Friday position, with office hours of 8:
30 AM- 5:
00 PM.
Our candidates must also be available for an on-call rotation to ensure we have coverage at all times.
As a Chaplain, the position is independent so that each staff member can have the best schedule to manage their case loads.
Ideal Candidates should possess:
Assessment and analytical skills Organized and independent Adaptable to change Interpersonal and communication skills Comfortable in a interfaith setting Ability to problem solve Compassionate and empathetic towards end of life needs License and
Qualifications:
Degree from accredited seminary school of theology Current CPR with American Heart Association BLS Guidelines Currently drivers license and insurance Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities Provide visits in patients homes or the facilities they reside in Assess patients psych-social needs Provide emotional support through active listening and connecting them through appropriate resources Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and Hospice Medical Director to establish a personalized care plan for each of our patients.
